Rain .. the real thing, not the singer

Last night, or rather morning as it was 3am, it was raining heavily when I finished work. Got wet. Maybe I should start carrying umbrella again. But then, I need to bring along a bigger bag, as it will not fit into my sling pouch.

I am getting used to not bringing an umbrella with me. Used to have it in my bag everytime, but I kinda feel more "free" without a bag slinging across my shoulder. Anyway I don't know why I bother to carry a big bag previously as the bigger it is, the more junks I put inside haha. Lately I like to wear just my windbreaker and a cap when it rains. Maybe I enjoy the feeling of the rain tickling my body, the wetness on my face, the cool breeze from the rain as I walk, and the convenience of two free hands to swing as they like or whatever the hands want to do hehe.

So, should I carry my slingbag whenever I go out again? The weather is unpredictable. It has been raining often lately. I enjoy the emptiness on my body ... okay lah, not really true as when I don't carry my bag, I do tend to load my pockets with stuffs haha. And it really is hard to stuff all the things into my pockets when I don't wear my cargo pants.

Rain, rain, go away, come again another day.

Yesterday met up with the malay dance group. As usual the members were not on time, Shyam was feeling agitated. He needed to finalise the people for the upcoming performances, but he couldn't do it without knowing who can or cannot make it. I couldn't join in as I will be working. So just watched them throughout the practice session. It wasn't much of a practice without everyone around though. That is the trouble with a group when everyone comes from different social circle. It is not easy to get everyone down at the same time. Spent my time playing with this 8yrs old girl, one of the members' cousin, instead of dancing.

After the practice (well they practised, I watched haha), took the family to Parkway where we boarded the free shuttle to Sengkang. It was the first time we are there. I felt like a tourist haha as the area was unfamiliar to me. Went in to Compass Point to check out the mall.


Saw this on the mall floor. Interesting isn't it? We had dinner at BK. They have Spiderman3 promotions going on now. Bought the Black Pepper Spidey set, a free spidey card is given for each set.


Wow, so many to collect, but the trouble is you will not know what you will get as they are all in a concealed package, and only one given for each meal. Sigh. Even if I ate one meal each day and every week, I may not get all the designs. If only somebody will give to me if they do not need the design. But ... not likely.

Caught the 8pm shuttle back, the coach was empty. If we had taken the last shuttle at 9pm, I am sure it would be packed. Back at Parkway, we looked around for a while. Saw a windbreaker, I needed a new one but there was no discount. I will wait, as I can still live with the current one. Maybe it will go for a discount during the Great Singapore Sale haha.

Managed to watch a little towards the ending of the movie, Crossroad, on Ch5. Britney acted in this movie. I didn't see the movie before. I still like Britney, for the entertainer she was, a singer and a great dancer. Hope she will make a comeback.

Something New ...

Okay, like I have so many blogs already, so why do I want to create another? I don't know. Maybe for you Jas, since you do not have accessed to my other blog. Anyway I have been toying with blogspot for sometime but never did make up my mind to start one.

Didn't quite like xanga, so never do much blogging there. eh, think I didn't even start on it haha. I need moblog more for its community spirit. Have a network of bloggers which I pop in on their blogs time to time to checkup on their progress, and comment on their postings. And hopefully they will comment on mine. Moblog lets me interact. I guess I need to interact with people. I don't want to be left alone. I need attention ... and I will give my attention to them as well.

Myspace ... well, it is more to my private thoughts which I have stopped doing on moblog. Recently doing more diarylike postings.

Livejournal ... I think I will leave livejournal for family issues.

And that left to blogspot. So what should I blog here. Maybe see how it goess. I want to have a feel of this first. For a start, I will have it like a journal entry.
